19 gennaio, ore 14.30. Sta per avere inizio la sfilata di Louis Vuitton. La nostra prima sfilata della maison vissuta dal vivo. Fibrillanti entriamo. Un monumentale globo specchiato troneggia nella serra del parco André Citroen di Parigi. E’ un mondo di cui tutti noi siamo il riflesso e che Louis Vuitton da sempre dispiega con il suo linguaggio. Kim Jones, designer della linea maschile, questa volta sceglie due metropoli, Parigi e Tokyo, unendole a doppio filo e tratteggiandone le influenze reciproche in fatto di stile, attraverso lo sguardo dell’illustratore Antonio Lopez. In modo sottile e quasi segreto, sotto cappotti stretti in vita, fa capolino il taglio a kimono della camicia, a cui si alternano occidentali giacche da baseball rivisitate in coccodrillo insieme all’iconico berretto alla francese. Tra gli accessori: cintura con logo “Paris” o “Tokyo”, spilla con piuma, borsa da dottore, orecchino a freccia in argento, scarpe con dettagli in metallo e avvolgente sciarpa in damier, tema storico della maison. Quale tra questi sarà il vostro must-have di stagione? Il nostro è un dubbio amletico. A voi l’imbarazzo della scelta.

A monumental mirrored globe towers over the greenhouse in Parc André Citroen. Each of us is part of this world’s reflection and Louis Vuitton has always displayed all with its own language. Kim Jones, who is the menswear line fashion designer, chooses this time two metropolis, Paris and Tokyo, and puts them together and spots the common influences about style, thanks to the eye of the illustrator Antonio Lopez. In a subtle and almost secret way, you can see that kimono-shirts appear under tight jackets in the waist, and there are varsity jackets revisited in crocodile together with the iconic French beret. Among all the accessories: belt with “Paris” or Tokyo” logos, feathered pin, doctor bag, silver arrowhead earring, shoes with metal details and soft scarf in damier, which is a historic pattern of the brand. Which will be the must-have item for next winter among them all? This is a real dilemma. For sure spoilt for choice.
