Ci è già capitato di narrare queste vicende, i loro eroi e le loro mitiche gesta (leggi qui). Ma quella che stiamo per celebrare ora, non è solo un capitolo di una tendenza della moda, ma la sua epopea.
Dopo che Pierre Cardin fece scendere il suo cavaliere sulla terra, le Muse vennero invocate dagli aedi: la faraonica sfilata di Galliano per Dior, Afrodite impersonata da Kylie Minogue, fino ad una divina Madonna al Super Bowl. L'Olimpo rispose all'invocazione. Dal cielo caddero le folgori di Giove, forgiate da Vulcano nelle più oscure profondità della terra. E divennero calzature, metalliche e fiammanti come armature lucenti.

Pierre Cardin was the first one to set down his knight on the earth, then the aoidoi invoked the Muses: Galliano’s pharaonic fashion show for Dior, Aphrodite embodied in Kylie Minogue, up to a divine Madonna at Super Bowl. Mount Olympus heard their call. Jupiter’s thunderbolts fell down from the sky, as Vulcan forged them in the dark depths of the earth. And they became shoes, as much metallic and flaming as shiny body armours.

Nob Spots! Paris Menswear Fashion Week - Day 3: Juun.J Fall/Winter 2012-13

La collezione Juun.J nasce in collaborazione con gli artisti svizzeri alexandfelix, le cui surreali immagini neo-pop sono state utilizzate per le stampe delle felpe. Le giacche e i cappotti sono ampi e danno importanza al busto e alle spalle. Il particolare incastro di tessuti, che crea complesse figure geometriche, firma l’identità dello sportswear futuristico di Juun.J per il prossimo inverno.

Juun.J collaborated for this collection with the Swiss artists alexandfelix, whose surreal neo-pop images have been employed as prints on the sweatshirts. Jackets and coats are wide and set off bust and shoulders. A particular joint of fabrics, which creates complex geometric shapes, defines the futuristic Juun.J sportswear for next winter.

Che i campi di battaglia siano dimensioni stellari, terre leggendarie o epiche gesta quotidiane, la moda e il cinema hanno radunato un nuovo esercito di combattenti. La strategia d’attacco sta nel magnetismo dell’oro.
In attesa dell'uscita del film "Immortals", che narra le vicende di Teseo contro i titani, Mugler, Juun J. e Cor Sine Labe Doli corazzano l'uomo contemporaneo con monili e accessori minimalisti, rigidi e lucenti. Mentre McQueen, Marc Jacobs e Raf Simons scelgono esclusivamente i dettagli delle scarpe.
Gli eroi galattici di Pierre Cardin del 1994 si sono quindi evoluti. Per avviare la trasformazione, il mitico personaggio dei cartoni animati He-Man, munito anche lui da bracciali dorati, ci ricorda l'energetica formula vincente:
"I Have the Power!"

Pierre Cardin’s galactic heroes, dated 1994, have finally evolved. Without forgetting that even the legendary cartoon character He-Man, equipped with his gold bracelets, to begin his transformation used to say:
