America's Cup World Series in Naples - Louis Vuitton Experience

Oggi ha inizio l’America’s Cup World Series a Napoli: regate preparatorie di vela che toccheranno la città partenopea e diverse località del mondo in vista della Louis Vuitton Cup, ossia la selezione di qualificazione preliminare promossa dalla maison francese e dallo skipper Bruno Troublé per individuare la squadra in grado di competere per l’America’s Cup, il trofeo più antico e ambito. Uno sport incentrato su velocità e spirito d’iniziativa, in cui l’uomo è chiamato a dialogare con l’imprevedibilità della natura facendo leva sull’abilità dell’intelletto, la resistenza del corpo e il sostegno della tecnologia, in organica armonia con la squadra. Il nucleo di uno stile comportamentale esemplare per le sfide del futuro che si vedono all’orizzonte? Risposta affermativa, capitano! In occasione delle prove di gara, siamo saliti a bordo dell’imbarcazione che fa da boa durante le competizioni e siamo stati sferzati dalla grinta impetuosa di questo sport. Un’eccezionale opportunità per respirare lo stesso vento che gonfia di coraggio gli animi intrepidi dei più grandi campioni della vela e percepire il sapido sapore della determinazione che permette di solcare le onde fino a librarsi in cielo. America’s Cup World Series begins today in Naples. It consists in sailing preliminary regattas that start in Naples and will reach different worldwide locations waiting for the Louis Vuitton Cup, which is the preliminary qualification selection supported by the French fashion house and the skipper Bruno Troublé to identify the team able to compete for the America’s Cup, which remains the eldest and most desired trophy. Sailing is a sport based on speed and spirit of enterprise, where the man dialogues with the nature and its unpredictability, appealing to the skill of his mind, body resistance and technological support, in organic harmony with the team. Can we consider it as a behavioural model to overcome the future challenges that will be complex to manage? Aye aye, Captain! We went on board the mark boat during the warm-up races and we have been excited to discover the impetuous determination of this sport. We had the exceptional opportunity to feel the wind that blows up with energy the fearless hearts of the most important sailing champions and to perceive the savoury taste of the perseverance that allows sailing through the waves up to hover in the sky. Because, as the poet Alfonso Gatto says, “sea man is not afraid of anything”.
