Nob Spots! Paris Fashion Week F/W 2011-12 - Day 5: Bill Tornade, Songzio, Rynshu, Qasimi, Yigal Azrouël, Y-3

Bill Tornade F/W 2011-12

Nob ama gli effetti speciali e una cascata di fumo artificiale in passerella è over the top. Dalla fornace creativa di Bill Tornade viene fuori il tartan in rosso, il kilt, il cammello e le giacche stile militare. E viene voglia che arrivi presto il prossimo inverno.

Nob loves special effects and a waterfall of artificial smoke is definitely amazing. From Bill Tornade’s creative mind comes out the red tartan, kilts, camel shades and military style jackets. And all in a sudden we can’t wait for the next winter.

Songzio F/W 2011-12

Songzio punta sui dettagli: stravaganti cappelli, calze coprenti accoppiati a pantaloni corti, fasce da smoking o cinture da kimono che diventano bustini di pelle e dello stesso materiale piccoli foulard legati al collo. Le silhouette sono morbide e i capotti ampi ed avvolgenti. La pennellata vermiglia di uno dei capotti coglie la nostra attenzione. D’altronde il rosso è uno dei colori Nob per eccellenza.

Songzio aims on details: odd hats, tights mixed to shorts, cummerbunds or kimono belts that become leather corsets and of the same material small neckerchiefs. The silhouettes are soft and the coats wide and wrapping. The vermillion stroke of one of the coats catches our attention. Nevertheless the red is a Nob colour par excellence.

Rynshu F/W 2011-12

La collezione Rynshu F/W 2011-12 si chiama “Neo retro” ed è ispirata alle pin up degli anni trenta e quaranta, che con i loro sorrisi ammiccanti si trasformano in motivi decorativi. Il nero domina incontrastato, lucidato e scintillante come corazze di scarabei, stratificato e brillante come schegge di ossidiana. Degni di nota i poncho coordinati con le giacche di pelle.

Rynshu F/W 2011 collection is called “Neo retro” and it is inspired by 30’s and 40’s pin-up girls that with their knowing smiles are turned into decorative patterns. The black masters without any doubts, burnished and shiny like beetles’ shells, stratified and sparkling like obsidian flakes. Noteworthy the ponchos coordinated with leather jackets.

Qasimi F/W 2011-12

Qasimi affonda le mani nel turbolento clima dell’adolescenza. E chi di noi in realtà non è ancora in lotta con il mondo, desideroso di ricongiungersi con i suoi istinti più profondi per abbattere vecchi sistemi e futuri nemici? Allora ecco apparire tatuaggi tribali e capospalla come armature, mentre i pantaloni si fanno aderenti come una divisa da super-eroe. Attenzione allo sguardo assassino di questo nuovo esercito di giovani combattenti.

Qasimi shows the rowdy atmosphere of teen years. And who isn’t still fighting off the world, willing to rejoin inner instincts to overthrow old systems and future enemies? So here appearing tribal tattoos and coats like armours, while the trousers are close-fitting like those of superheroes. Be aware of this new army of young soldiers’ assassin’s gaze.

Yigal Azrouël F/W 2011-12

E’ il debutto parigino quello del newyorkese Yigal Azrouël. Cardigan come giacche formali sottolineate da sottili cintura in vita, tessuti e colori ginnici abbinati a tagli sartoriali. Uno stile di vita americano con un’attitudine dandy. E Parigi e New York sono vicine più che mai.

It is the debut in Paris of the New Yorker Yigal Azrouël. Cardigan sweaters like formal jackets remarked by slim belts around the waist, gymnastic fabric and colours matched with sartorial shapes. An American lifestyle with a dandy flair. And Paris and New York are now closer than ever.

Y-3 F/W 2011-12

Yohji Yamamoto + Adidas = Y-3. Marchio che quest’anno festeggia i suoi 10 anni con sneakers iridescenti e capi sportivi che non conoscono età. Per l’occasione è stata presentata un’installazione con i modelli iconici delle scarpe che hanno fatto la storia ed è stato proiettato “This is my dream”, documentario di Theodore Stanley, in cui il designer ha raccontato le diverse fasi del suo lavoro, rivelando sempre autonomia dai trend stagionali e continua ricerca creativa, di chi non sa adagiarsi sugli allori e guarda sempre avanti. Un genio della moda.

Yohji Yamamoto + Adidas = Y-3. A brand that this year celebrates its 10th anniversary with iridescent sneakers and ageless sportswear items. On this occasion it has been exhibited an installation with the iconic shoes that made its history and it has been shown “This is my dream”, Theodore Stanley’s documentary, in which the designer tells the different phases of his work, revealing autonomy from the seasonal trends and continue creative research, someone who has never rested on laurels and keeps on looking ahead. A genie of fashion.

Nob Spots! Paris Fashion Week F/W 2011-12 - Day 4: Bernard Willhelm, TL / MANN, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Petar Petrov

Bernhard Willhelm F/W 2011-12

Bernhard Willhelm sa come giocare. E questa volta prende la segnaletica della strada per costruire un cantiere pieno di ironici figuranti, dove estetica pop, colori fluorescenti e muscoli guizzanti fanno capolino da leggins colorati e slogan satirici. L’identità post-moderna è in atto più che mai.

Bernhard Willhelm knows how to play. And this time he takes the road signs to build a construction site full of ironic minor figures, where pop aesthetic, fluorescent colours and twitching muscles peep out by colourful leggings and satirical catchwords. The post-modern identity is in operation more then ever.

TL/MANN F/W 2011-12

Anfibi, cintura stretta in vita e tessuti acquerellati che sembrano sporcati dal pennello di un pittore per la sfilata di TL / MANN.

Combat boots, waist belts and watercolour fabrics that seem to be mucked up by a painter’s brush for TL / MANN fashion show.

Boris Bidjan Saberi F/W 2011-12

Feltro, pelle, silhouette taglienti e radici che affondano nel movimento degli skaters per una collezione che esplora il fascino delle sfumature del sangue nella suo ciclo vitale di guarigione ed essiccazione.

Felt, leather, sharp-edged silhouettes and roots dug into skaters’ movement for a collection that explores the charm of blood’s shades in its life cycle of healing and drying.

Petar Petrov F/W 2011-12

Un’anima dark scaldata da bagliori color zafferano, bordeaux e fiordaliso. La collezione è perfettamente portabile e rilassata, con pantaloni morbidi accompagnati da capospalla lunghi fino al ginocchio o da giubbotti e giacche corte che arrivano alla vita. Un tocco di pelle rende più aggressivi gli outfit.

A dark soul warmed up with flashes of saffron, bordeaux and cornflower blue. The collection is perfectly wearable and relaxed, with soft trousers to go with knee-length coats or waist-length jackets. And a final touch of leather makes the outfits more aggressive.
