Scaldate i muscoli!

Warm up your muscles!
The 2012 London Olympics are almost here.
“Let me hear your body talk” used to sing Olivia Newton-John in 1981’s Physical, starting a new era dedicated to physical fitness that still survives today. In the fashion world Dolce & Gabbana have been celebrating the connection between sport and glamour, following Juvenal’s saying mens sana in corpore sano. Latest menswear collections do it too, with details and fabrics that recollect technical sportswear, which is always more performant, useful, practical, and I would dare to say, with a catchy design, almost competitive with fashion in the strict sense of the word. Adidas and Nike have produced sci-fi fibres as result of the highest technology, which react to blood heat and ambient temperature, and they mould as a second skin providing a stunning comfort. Hidden zip fasteners and pockets turn the garments for a multitasking life. The fashion designers well-understood the potential of this approach to style, not to mention the male fragrances’ lines in sports version, which are a fresher and lighter alternative to eau de parfum and eau de toilette. Because a man doesn’t like to make any sacrifice for Fashion and he needs more and more to combine matter and form to surpass life goals and arrive on the podium.
